How Working Out Helps with Depression


Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, but it can also be good for your mental health. If you’re feeling depressed and unsure of what to do about it, starting an exercise program might be just the thing to help lift your mood (and keep it lifted). Here are some ways that working out can help with depression:

Another study found similar results regarding adults over 50 years old; those who participated in regular moderate intensity physical activity showed greater mood improvements than people who didn’t engage in any form of activity at all!

And remember: if nothing else works for you right now (and let’s hope it does), then at least consider taking up some form of exercise as part of your treatment plan
